Maybe you’re not into the land of steamy summers and Early Bird Specials. Or, maybe you’re a snowbird. Either way, MWV is filled with Seniors who continue to enjoy the active outdoor lifestyle. Our Seniors don’t like to set themselves apart in private over-55 developments. They enjoy blending in with the rest of the friendly, welcoming community that is Mount Washington Valley.

skiersDozens of Golf Courses spread out along our beautiful green valleys. The many Ski Resorts offer attractive day and season rates for Seniors. Hiking trails run the gamut from easy walks in the woods along picturesque streams and waterfalls, to moderate climbs up hilly terrain to get your heart rate going, to spectacular climbs up some of the highest peaks in the Northeast. I’ve met many folks well into their retirement years on some of the steepest hiking trails I’ve been on. The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) has several base camps, lodges and huts in the White Mountains and they offer excursions for those over 55.
