Selling The Mount Washington Valley

It was after a vacation in the Mount Washington Valley in the summer of 1990 that I decided this was where I had to live. I longed to be in these beautiful mountains with clean air, fresh water, and clear starry skies. In the spring of 1991, I packed up and moved here from Philadelphia. It was the best decision I ever made!

Living here is everything I imagined it would be and more. Besides having all the amenities of a four-season resort area, including fine restaurants and shops, it is a wonderful, caring community. Mt. Washington Valley is a fabulous place to live, or just visit, surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest, with numerous ski areas, thousands of hiking trails and a multitude of lakes and streams. It's only 1-1/2 hours from Portland, ME and the beautiful Maine coast. People really care about one another in this small community, which I now call home. I have met and married my husband, Bert Weiss, an artist from Portland, Maine, and we reside in the lovely town of Chatham, NH.

I am active in several community programs. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the White Mountains Jazz and Blues Festival, and have been on the Boards of Directors of the Conway Village Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. As well, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the White Mountain Board of Realtors and the New Hampshire Association of Realtors, which means that I subscribe to the highest standards of ethics in our industry.
