Conway Lake Shoreland Building Information
Conway Lake Resources and Links
Whether you are building new or renovating you will need to work within the guidelines set out by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES). This page contains links to some of the particular information you may need in planning your project.

Setbacks protect water quality by reducing runoff, surface water responsible for carrying pollutants into lakes, rivers and streams. The 50 foot primary building setback helps to maintain a healthy buffer zone between our activtivies and the lake. With appropriate and abundant plants int he waterfront buffer zone, excess nutrients and sediments that come from fertilizers, driveways, roads and human activities will be largely absorbed and used. Clean water benefits all lakefront property owners by maintaining the value of the lake for recreational purposes.
