Denmark is southeast of Bridgton, ME, and is dotted with ponds, large and small, tucked away between the hills and valleys. The southern end of Moose Pond has many waterfront homes and cottages. Denmark is also has its own share of the Saco River near the border with Brownfield. With a population of about 1,000 year-round residents, like most other towns in this area, the population swells dramatically during the busy vacation season, when summer residents return to their mountain getaways and lakefront vacation homes.
